Plot Review:

Mr. Lockwood portraits his visit to Wuthering Heights and encounters supernatural forces which discontent Lockwood’s curiosity. Nelly who is Lockwood’s housekeeper tells him the story of the Heathcliff. The main plotlines of Wuthering Heights narrate by Nelly. Mr. Earnshaw brings home the boy named Heathcliff who is an orphan from Liverpool. Mr. Earnshaw’s daughter name is Catherine, who develops a strong friendship bond with Heathcliff while his son named Hindley is jealous of Mr. Earnshaw close relationship with Heathcliff.

After the death of Mr. Earnshaw, Hindley becomes the master of Wuthering Heights and put down Heathcliff to servant status. Catherine marries the rich man named Edgar Linton, while Heathcliff marries Edgar’s sister so that he can inherit her money. Catherine dies while giving birth to a daughter named Cathy. Heathcliff gains ownership of Wuthering Heights after the death of Edgar Linton. Heathcliff dies too and he rejoins his beloved Catherine.
